Office, where I found [Thomas] Picton muffled up in his ?ǣGarde National ? Algerine-looking, branded capote, he being sick & suffering under divers combined inflictions of piles, bronchitis &c. Brice, Purdy &c Dined at the ?ǣShades. ? Return to room &c, down town again, to Post Office, Bunnell & Prices, getting paid $24; ($11 from Reveille.) To [] Chapin ?s rooms.
