A flintlock double-barrelled shotgun, John Manton, London, circa 1810. Smooth bore Damascus barrels in 17 mm calibre with patent breechblock, silver bead and vents bushed with platinum. Each of the chambers bears the crowned gold-filled mark "MANTON LONDON" (Stöckel No. 7853). Lightly engraved flintlocks. Frizzens with roller bearings. The lock plates with another signature "MANTON". Walnut half stock with chequered small of the stock and engraved iron furniture. Wooden ramrod with brass tip. Length 112 cm.
