The gift is toi)c contested for by the different classes in bowling, theclass making the best score to retain the cup unt 1 another. class scores higher. The cup is a beautiful piece of bears the following inscription: Presented to theAlumni Association of the College of Pharmacy of theCity of New York by the AVilliam S. Merrell ChemicalCompany of Cincinnati, O. June, 1900. An alumnibadge is mounted in the inscription. Following the dinner, dancing, bowling and prizeshooting were enjoyed. The ladies bowled for prizes, thesuccessful ones being Miss May Molloy, Miss Angrovettand Mrs. George E. Schweinfurth. The men rolled inthe afternoon, the contest resulting in a tie among GeorgeHitchcock, R. H. Tlmmermann and C. H. White. Threemedals are offered and these will be awarded when theroll-off is made. Adolph Tsheppe won the shootingcontest, L. W. De Zeller was second and Harry C. Yagerthird. Durng the afternoon a group photograph wastaken.
