OFLAG PRISONERS RELEASED BY AMERICAN TROOPS - A trophy from Hademar brought away by of Oflag 12B. It is a warning to prisoners that it is no longer considered "a sport" to escape. For some reason the German authorities have coupled it with a quotation from a captured "Handbook of Irregular Warfare". It is of course to stress the "barbarity of the Allies" British Army, 21st Army Group
