Robert Francis passes through the ceremonial side boys during the change of command ceremony for the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Lassen (DDG 82). Cmdr. Robert Francis relieved Cmdr. Michael A. Smith as Lassen’s Commanding Officer. Lassen is scheduled to begin its summer patrol of the Indo-Asia-Pacific region with the George Washington Carrier Strike Group.
