The flood changed the face of that fair world, and since thenits beauty and grandeur live only in story. We will designatethe world before the flood as number one. It was not anni-hilated, but perished,— perished as a beautiful world. It borelittle likeness to the world in its present state of existence. The apostle Peter, in discoursing further concerning the world,. The Three Worlds 31 says, But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by thesame word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the dayof judgment and perdition of ungodly men. 2 Peter 3 : 7.
