Wlien radiography was first employed in the study of injuries of theelbow joint, many mistakes were made in diagnosis, through lack of knowledgeof the normal appearance of the joint at successive ages. Injuries about theelbow in ciiildren naturally present difficulties in diagnosis owing to the com-plexity of the structures involved.
