The building cost twothousand five hundred dollars, which includes the purchaseof hall and grounds, fixtures, furnishing, bell, etc., and willseat three hundred and sixty people. Two other religious societies, known as the First Con-gregational Church of Essex and the Fiist Baptist Churchof P]ssex, have been organized in the township, but asboth have ceased to exist, no further mention is deemednecessary.
