helmet, Anonymous, 16th century, Iron cabasset with an iron plume sleeve and helmet crest. The helmet is oval in shape and has a high, spherical helmet sphere, the helmet flap is sloping downwards. The helmet sphere consists of two halves and is finished over the comb with a folded strip of iron. At the rear tip of the helmet visor, part of the plate is a contemporary replacement, and so is a piece of the adjacent rim.
