The cover has a repousse floral scroll deco-ration in three expanded foliate medallions about a pierccd-blossom center. lias stand. Diameter. I1 inches. 748— Gallipot (( hien-htng) Dense white porcelain, coated with a glaze of the peachbloomfamily but differentiated from the peachbloom glaze of theearlier reigns—a crushed-strawberry hue, the color thinly spreadexcept at base of luck and foot, where it deepens, elsewhererunning in light or rosy mottling* and on some surfaces almostvanishing, leaving the body white.
