A flintlock pistol, Johann Christoph Kuchenreuter, Steinweg near Regensburg, circa 1780, Finely rifled barrel in 12 mm calibre with remnants of the original bluing, with silver front sight and double folding rear sight. The upper side of the barrel with tendrils and signature "I. CHRISTOPH KUCHENREITER" inlaid in silver, at the breech gold-lined rider mark (Stöckel no. 640). Flintlock with chiselled hunting motifs and ornaments (cock cracked) with single set trigger.
