The workers of Tarapur tea garden in Sylhet went on strike after not getting their wages for two weeks. Workers participating in the strike for the third consecutive day had several demands including arrears. Sunil Modi, general secretary of the Tarapur Tea Plantation Panchayat Committee, said workers suspended work and protested in front of the plantation’s office building. Sylhet, Bangladesh.
