Dudley Street, Wolverhampton, circa 1955. Dudley Street before it became pedestrianised. To the left is the entrance to the Central Arcade (originally opened in 1902). Fosters' Corner can be clearly seen on the corner to the right. Other notable retailers are Marks and Spencer, Vogue Cleaners and H. Samuel the jewellers in the distance. Also in the distance can be seen the spires of St. Peter's Collegiate church. Dudley Street represents an ancient link between Wolverhampton and the neighbouring borough of Dudley.
