KABUL, Afghanistan (June 22, 2017) – A female police officers shares her experience in working on family issues with the First Deputy Minister of Interior, Afghan Lt. Gen. Janan Barekzai during his visit, along with Maj. Gen. Richard Kaiser, Army, Commanding General of Combined Security Transition Command – Afghanistan, to the MoI’s temporary Family Response Unit. The two generals came to inspect recent improvements. The FRU supports women and girls who are victims of domestic violence, sexual abuse, child marriage and other known Issues in Afghanistan’s regional and remote areas.
