WESTERN PACIFIC (May 16, 2017) Aviation Boatswain’s Mate (Handling) 3rd Class Sarah-Katie Prielipp, of Ann Arbor, Michigan, gives the signal to raise an aircraft elevator on the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70). The Navy has patrolled the Indo-Asia-Pacific routinely for more than 70 years promoting regional peace and security.
