Ingang van de schuilkelder A bij Heemskerk; Kelders te basement A: a narrow, high slot of concrete. These bomb-free cellars were built in 1940 after the shelters in North Holland villages were not safe. The collection of the museum of the museum had been adacred in 1939. Approx. 25,000 cubic meters of sand was moved for construction. The new cellars were put into use in 1941.
