A flintlock breechloader, Leimat in Lippstadt, circa 1680. Octagonal barrel merging to round with smooth bore in 16 mm calibre. Signed "Berend Leimate in Lipstad" on the tang. The lock has finely engraved flower and mask decoration. Opens on a hinge in the middle with a removable chamber piece and frizzen. Replacement stock of figured walnut with the original iron furniture. Length 124 cm.
