The Roqers Rock Hotel stands on a prom-onitory just north of the Slide. This property wasbciight in 1903 by the Rogers Rock Hotel Com-pany. Tlie grounds have a lake frontage of overone mile and, extend backward fully a half mile toinclude Rogers Rock mountain. Near by are deepwaters end running brooks. From its commandingposition it looks out over the narrowing watersof the outlet and south to where Black Mountainstands guard over the
