M25 Colne Valley Motorway Service Area proposed site, Iver Heath, Bucks - planning application PL/20/4332/OA
This good quality farmland is the site of the proposed new M25 Colne Valley Motorway Service Area, west of Chandlers Hill, Iver Heath in Buckinghamshire UK. A proposed continuation of green belt erosion by South Bucks District Council/Bucks County Council. The M25 has managed without a Service Area along this stretch since its opening 35 years ago in 1986. Needless to say, the loss of habitat for local wildlife such as red kites, pheasants, owls, crows, rabbits etc is patently obvious, as is the destruction of perfectly good farmland.
