Sailors watch the glow of their scopes as they man their stations in the Carrier Air Traffic Control Center aboard the aircraft carrier USS John F. Kennedy (CV 67) on Aug. 26, 2004. The Kennedy is underway in the Persian Gulf conducting missions in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Units in the Kennedy Carrier Strike Group are working closely with Multi-National Corps-Iraq and Iraqi forces to bring stability to the sovereign government of Iraq.
