At almost the exact center of the picture one may see a "Y" junction. The road to the right is the Army trail of 1942 and leads to an abandoned crossing of Lke Creek and the road to the left leads to the new bridge. The Public Roads Administration Survey stayed on the left or north side of Lake Creek all the way through this section. The small white spot in the distance is Andrews Lake.
