ARABIAN SEA (July 5, 2021) – Sailors aboard guided-missile destroyer USS Halsey (DDG 97) man the rails during a replenishment-at-sea with Military Sealift Command dry cargo and ammunition ship USNS Cesar Chavez (T-AKE 14) in the Arabian Sea, July 5. Halsey is attached to Commander, Task Force 50, deployed to the 5th Fleet area of operations in support of naval operations to ensure maritime stability and security in the Central Region, connecting the Mediterranean and Pacific through the western Indian Ocean and three strategic choke points.
