Kowe, of Kirkwood, had a cut of fine valley for Christmas. Ostertag Bros, say it was a record- breaking business for the whole month of December. Fred Ostertag, who was reported sick recently, was about, but not able to do much of the hard work at Christmas. Alex. Siegel had the finest mistletoe seen here, and was liberal in supply- ing some of the local trade with it. He says everything sold well. Holly and greens had a big sale and his cut flower department was kept busy all week long. The Eiessen Floral Co. and Grimm & Gorly tell the same story of big Christmas business, with good prices. George Angermueller had a Christ- mas shipment of fancy orchids that sold well. The members of the St. Louis Flo- rists' Club should not forget the big New Year's meeting that takes place next week, Thursday, January 9, at 2 o'clock in Odd Fellows' building.
