Randolph street, where a first floor store has been leased for a long term, with four large lofts which occupy the whole notable Masonic build- ing at the southwest corner of W. Ran- dolph and Halstead streets. Confirmation of the damage to the California seed .growers' crops, reported in this column last week, has been re- ceived, and besides the firms mentioned, the Haven Seed Co. and others have suffered practically a total loss of all crops on the island or reclaimed lands.
