Bowels, regular and 18 urinalyses made during herstay in the hospital, all were negative. Last menstruation, Jan. 26, 1906;date of quickening, June 15th; a week ago, that is, Aug. 1st, patienthad done some washing and in the evening she became sick with cramp-like pains in the back and right side of lower abdomen. There was absolutelyno bleeding from the vagina during the attack. Since that time she hasfelt no foetal movements and at present is somewhat weak and tiredand has some pain in the small of her back.
