While on the island, James also visited other Army Civil Works projects including the Caño Martín Peña, an environmental restoration project currently under preliminary engineering and design phase; Rio Puerto Nuevo, flood risk management project presently under construction and San Juan Harbor Improvements study, a navigation project presently finishing feasibility in the fiscal year 2018 among many others.
