The arrangements classed in this way arenecessarily restricted to a more or less formaltype of decorative composition, but they are 208 THE CRAFT OF HAND-MADE RUGS none the less useful in house decoration becauseof this restriction. Take a piece of unbleached muslin and printthe stencils of each one of the units on it. Usethe liquid bluing for this purpose. If there areany defects in the stencil they will show up inthe print on the muslin, and it may be correctedby more cutting. Lay the stencil down on apiece of window glass to cut it.
