London Fete Against the G8 No Borders protest in Croydon visits offices concerned with asylum seekers was heavily policed
London Fete Against the G8 No Borders a group which campaigns on rights of asylum seekers and migrants along with anarchists and other protesters including samba band Rhythms of Resistance handed out newspapers about the G8 meeting and the increasing restrictions on freedom to protest and freedom of movement and demonstrated outside buildings in Croydon which are involved in the enforcement of British immigration policies They were escorted by a large number of police who restricted their activities and on several occasions pushed them around but no arrests were made during the protest
