Cheerfulness—A new sort with very brilliant and at- tractive flowers, a most brilliant golden scarlet or in- tense salmon, petals bordered yellow. No other color like it. _ Favorite—Clear yellow, freely dotted with scarlet. Beats the fine old F. Vaughan. Extra good. Dragon—A most incessant bloomer. New flower stalks following one another in rapid succession. Rich ox- blood red. „ . , , Gladiator—A very showy bedding Canna with large flowers of brassy yellow thinly speckled in red. The long center petals and lower petal are dark red, making a most striking contrast. Three feet. Express—Very dwarr, only two feet tall, with im- mense trusses of intense deep scarlet flowers. Finest very dwarf variety. , - Meteor—Just like Express only Tour feet tall. Flowers fullv Tour inches across, color is deep crimson. Con- tinues blooming luxuriantly all summer. Three feet. Hungaria—Very compact, and of a very luxuriant growth. Leaves bluish-green, never burns. Trusses of enormous size, borne well above the roliage. Flowers very large with broad petals. Color purest La France pink with satin sheen. The most delicate pink in Can- nas. Three feet. , , _ President Myers—Flowers light scarlet color. Fo- liage dark, being a mixture of green and maroon. Three and one-half feet. Prince Wied—Extra large flowers or a rich crimson- black color in massive spikes. Rich green foliage. Three feet.
