It would be advisable to run another 2i/4-ineh flow to supply the coil on the north side of the house. While good results may be secured with the pipes arranged as shown in the sketch, it would be preferable to run three Si^-inch flow pipes to the farther end of the house and connect them with ten 2-inch returns, for a temperature of 50 degrees. One flow and three returns should be placed on each side wall or the returns may be run under the side benches. For a temperature of 60 de- grees, fourteen returns will be neces- sary. To heat the 12x60-foot house, use two 2%-inch flow pipes and six 2-inch re- turns. The boiler should heat the two houses if hard coal is used, but with WHY TAKE CHANCES?.
