It is not necessary for the affected hen to have any external ap- pearance of having white diarrhea or a diarrhea of any kind. In fact, the affected bird may be in the pink of condition, a good layer and a fine-looking fowl. By analyzing the eggs laid from an infected hen, we may find white diarrhea germs in very active form, or none at all.
