He respected the dignity and the worth of labor and re-tained throughout life a continued interest in human events. HARVEY PROBABLY no name in Lynnfield, Massachusetts, bringsmore clearly or forcibly to mind a man of large affairs, ofbroad and charitable opinions, and of generous impulses,than the name of the late Daniel G. Harvey, whose long connectionwith that community made him a part of its progress and de-velopment. Mr. Harvey was born in Parkman, Maine, in 1854, and died athis home in Lynnfield, February 26, 1918. As a young man hecame to Maiden, Massachusetts, where he lived for several thirty years ago he removed to Lynnfield, where he becameone of the most substantial and estimable citizens of the earnestness and usefulness of Mr. Harvey in town affairs is,however, only a part of an exceedingly valuable fife which couldnot be limited in its field of effort.
