The Duchess, made a to the visit to the city as part of tour of the North east of england which included the civic center in Newcastle and Middlesbrough, before leaving the area The Duchess visiting Elswick Park was informed that it was a great example of how an outdoor space can benefit a community beyond spor and play. The Duchess went on to visit te garden area which was set up to increase skill and education in in food growing and healthy eating
