In most of the testes examined there was much more fibrous tissue in the septa and capsule tlian was observed in the testes taken from ripe parr at the beginning of the experiment. Some showed large areas of fibrosis, giving the appearance of scars. The fibrous tissue in certain testes was arranged concentrically around a mass of degenerating cells (Figure 4, upper).
