Fromelles (Pheasant Wood) Military Cemetery


The cemetery, the first Commonwealth war cemetery to be built in over half a century, contains the graves of 250 British and Australian soldiers who died on 19 July 1916 in the Battle of Fromelles and whose bodies were located found in mass graves in 2008. It was completed in 2010.
