SUEZ CANAL (Dec. 05, 2016) Electronics Technician 2nd Class Joshua Peck, assigned to the guided-missile destroyer USS Nitze (DDG 94), stands watch during the ship's transit of the Suez Canal. Peck serves onboard Nitze as an electronics technician and is responsible for maintaining, repairing and calibrating shipboard electronic equipment. Nitze, deployed as part of the Eisenhower Carrier Strike Group, is supporting maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the 5th Fleet area of operations.
