Crew members stand in formation as MCPO Charles Cartwright presents the urn containing the remains of CDR Harold Schwartz to CAPT Robert James, commanding officer of the tank landing ship USS RACINE (LST-1191), during burial at sea services aboard the vessel. Schwartz served as a doctor assigned to the Paratroop Battalion, 1ST Marine Division and took part in combat operations on Guadalcanal, the Gilbert Islands, Marshall Islands and Okinawa.
