Green House is a pioneering eco friendly home made of recycled materials with walls insulated by old tyres.


14 May 2003 Project manager Daren Howarth crushes chalk into some of 2000 car tyres being used to build Europes first Earth Ship on the South Downs countryside above Brighton The Green House was being constructed by a co operative Low Carbon Network a group of 20 people working together in a Not for Profit company The house also uses a myriad of recycled cans bottles carpet wood glass and other objects. The Earth Ship project has become a eco tourist destination.
