At the Museumplein, in Amsterdam, hundreds of XR activists danced to demand action against climate change in what protesters dubbed “civil disco-bedience”. Activists waved flags and danced to songs including the Bee Gees’ 1977 hit, Stayin’ Alive. After the Museumplein the activists blocked for a few minutes one of the most important bridges in Amsterdam, the Blauwbrug and they ended the action in front of the Amsterdam city council.
