CHARLESTON, SC. (March 17, 2019) A Marine from Alpha Company 1st Battalion, 1st Marine Regiment presents Capt. Jake Douglas, commanding officer of USS Hue City (CG 66), with a Marine Corps guidon signed by members of his unit during a Hue City remembrance ceremony at The Citadel. The ceremony was held to honor the Marines who fought, and paid the ultimate sacrifice at the Battle of Hue in 1968.
