We climbed over our works and advanced to where the wounded menlay. but succeeded only in bringing one man liack. whom we carried to theChancellorsville House. During all this time we were under a heavy skirmish tire. Runyon was wounded on the following day, and died shortly remainder of the party, 1 believe, are yet alive. Mr. Seaman was born in Ohio, September 11, 1838, and enlisted October22, 18G1, as private in Company A, 66th Ohio Infantry. At the expiration of. Willi Will Volunteer? his first term of service, he reenlisted as a veteran in the same company andregiment. December 15. 1868. Henry Heller, now residing in Urbana, Ohio, sends the following as hismilitary record: I was born in Clarion. Pa., in 1841, and at the beginning of the war wasresiding in Irbana. There it was that 1 enlisted April 20, 1861, as sergeant AMEUJCAN HEROISM. t>49 in Company K of the 13th Ohio Infantry, a three-months organization.
