Their qua- lity is superior and they keep better than any other sort, the heads being just as solid and perfect when taken up in Spring as when they were put away in the Fall. No ('abbage will sell beside it, even if offered at half the price. Burpee's Surehead Cabbage produces large, round flat- tened heads, of the Flat Dutch type, and is remarkable for its certainty to head. It is all head, and always sur to head even where other varieties fail. The heads are remarkably uniform, very hard, firm and fine in texture, and ordinarily weigh from ten to fifteen pounds each. It is very sweet flavored, has scarcely any loose leaves, keeps well, is good for shipping, and is just the variety and quality to suit market gardeners, farmers and all lovers of good cabbage. The heads grow to a very large size, solid, and as its name signifies, are deeper through than ordinary Stock of flatheaded second early cabbages.
