Roach, to Bismarck to consult Gov. LouisK. Church as to the best manner of dealing with the matter. At a meeting heldon June 28th, President Roach reported that the governor did not feel justifiedin authorizing the removal of the university without legislative sanction, as itwould establish a dangerous precedent, but that he would do all in his power toassist in making repairs and would recommend to the next Legislature a specialappropriation for that purpose.
