Exercising on the International Space Station. Cosmonaut Valery I. Tokarev, equipped with a bungee harness, exercising on the Treadmill Vibration Isolation System (TVIS) in the Zvezda Service Module of the International Space Station (ISS). Tokarev, a flight engineer on Expedition 12 to the ISS, represented Russia's Federal Space Agency. Expedition 12 docked on 3rd October, 2005 and undocked on 8th April, 2006. The ISS is a joint effort by several national space agencies, including NASA. It orbits Earth at an altitude of around 350 kilometres. Photographed on 22nd October, 2005.
