Construction continues on December 14, 2020, on a new border wall system project west of Douglas, Arizona, within Border Patrol's Tucson Sector. As of December 11, over 425 miles of new border wall system have been built along the southwest border in place of outdated designs, or in locations where no barriers previously existed.
