MEDITERRANEAN SEA (July 20, 2017) An F/A-18E Super Hornet attached to the "Tomcatters" of Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 31 launches from the flight deck of the aircraft carrier USS George Bush (CVN 77). The ship and its carrier strike group are conducting naval operations in the 6th Fleet area of operations in support of national security interests in Europe and Africa.
