Not for use in Television Not for use in Television Henoch-Schonlein purpura (HSP) rash on the legs of a 16 year old girl. In this rare condition, usually seen in children, inflammation of the blood vessels (vasculitis) results in a skin rash, and joint and abdominal pain. It can affect blood vessels in the bowel and the kidneys. HSP appears to be an autoimmune disorder, but its cause is unclear. It usually gets better without treatment and is not usually serious.
