Margaret Kaanar and Robert Ulstrom, US physicians and paediatricians. At left is US paediatrician Margaret Holden Jones Kaanar (1904-2001), with fellow US paediatrician Robert A. Ulstrom (1923-2012). Kaanar, was professor of paediatrics at the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA). Ulstrom was chair of the UCLA department of paediatrics. Kaanar was an expert on the treatment of cerebral palsy, and when this photograph was taken, she had just been named the Dwight D. Eisenhower United Cerebral Palsy Clinical Professor at UCLA.
