Hydrangea Grandiflora and Rose ofSharon bring up the rear. Two of the finest collections are to be seenon private grounds, one is on Mr. J. D. Wellss place, on Broadway, andthe other on the Parsons estate. And on the latter are the two finestTulip trees in Flushing. Both are over 3 feet in diameter. The tallestis over 100 feet high. These two trees were standing when the BritishRedcoats camped there during the Revolutionary
