The archpriest church of Santa María, 1 located in the Spanish city of Sagunto (Valencia) began to be built in 1334, in the place occupied by the major mosque of Murviedro, and was completed in 1730. The interior and the lateral facades are Gothic ogival Valencian style, while the main one is of baroque style. It was declared National Monument in 1983. Between 1910-1913 the Baroque bell tower was eliminated by the danger of collapse and the present one was constructed.
